UQMC Calendar

This is the UQMC Calendar for the UQ academic year. During the year, UQMC organises various hiking, climbing, trail running, rogaining and other trips. At the start of the year, there are more 'beginner' trips, where we focus on getting to know you a bit better, getting you up to speed on the skills and teaching you the "safety first" principles. 

The more we progress during the year, the more adventurous and (sometimes) more advanced the trips can be. We have two major climbing trips: one 2-week bouldering trip to Townsville during the Winter break, and one 2-week Climbing trip to the Blue Mountains during the Summer break. There are also various overnight hikes planned during the year. So there is something for everyone!

Be aware that for some of the trips, there are some prerequisites, such as having a certain climbing skill tape, having overnight hiking experience, getting your COVID-dining in certification or having a swim certificate. 

However, our Kangaroo Point Top Rope nights are for everyone, so if you have any questions, feel free to come by :)
